The afternoon portion of the walk is more of a breeze, as you descend to Villa di Piazzano, which lies in the valley just below you.

Climbing up over the hills behind Piazzano, we enjoy stunning views of Lake Trasimeno and its islands. We will walk on dirt trails, crossing the border into Umbria as we make our way to the tiny village of Sanguineto, famous as a Roman Republic battle site during war with Hannibal. We'll continue our ride after passing by the village of Montichiello before turning then back to the hotel for some relaxation time before your dinner.
